Functional Business Analyst – Large Scale Transformation | Banking

We’re partnering with a leading Big 4 Bank who are undergoing significant, multi-year transformation programs across core banking, customer platforms, and operational processes.

The Role:
You’ll sit within a major transformation program, working across business and technology to shape requirements, influence stakeholders, and ensure delivery aligns to strategic objectives. Expect to operate across multiple workstreams with strong visibility to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements across complex banking domains
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, process maps, and user stories
• Partner with product, technology, and delivery teams to drive end-to-end outcomes
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and SMEs across the organisation
• Support solution design, ensuring alignment to business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to future-state operating models
• Drive traceability from requirements through to delivery and implementation

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within banking or financial services
• Track record working on large-scale transformation programs (core banking, digital, regulatory, or platform-led change)
• Strong functional BA capability - process mapping, requirements definition, and business engagement
• Confident stakeholder manager - able to challenge, influence, and bring people on the journey
• Experience working across both business and technology teams
