Business Project Manager - Operating Model

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of finance and operations system and process changes driven by organisational restructure
• Translate new operating model and structural changes into executable workplans, processes, and system outcomes
• Own project governance including scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and reporting
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Finance, Operations, Technology, and external vendors
• Oversee the operationalisation of ERP and core systems to support new roles, accountabilities, and workflows
• Ensure clarity between business requirements and system configuration, acting as the bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams
• Manage cutover and implementation activities while ensuring service continuity during transition
• Develop and maintain project artefacts including plans, Gantt charts, implementation playbooks, and status reporting
• Support change readiness by ensuring processes, ownership, and handover are clearly defined

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

• Proven experience delivering business transformation or restructure‑driven projects
• Strong background in business‑side project management (not purely IT delivery)
• Demonstrated ability to implement operating model and process changes across finance and/or operations functions
• Experience working with ERP or enterprise systems in a transformation or restructure context
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders
• Strong capability in managing risk, issues, dependencies, and competing priorities

Highly Desirable

• Experience in government or complex regulated environments
• Exposure to finance, corporate services, or shared services operating models
• Experience embedding systems changes into day‑to‑day operations post‑go‑live
