Head of Portfolio, Governance & Delivery Practice

We are seeking a Head of Portfolio, Governance & Delivery Practice to play a pivotal role in shaping how strategy is delivered and transformation is realised across the organisation.

The Opportunity:

In this critical leadership role, you will act as the enterprise custodian of portfolio governance and delivery excellence, ensuring the right initiatives are delivered at the right time with the right support around people.

Partnering closely with the Executive team, you will guide strategic investment decisions, strengthen accountability, and enable transformation that is predictable, human-centred, and aligned to the value delivered to members.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Portfolio Leadership:

• Provide enterprise-wide oversight of Health Partners’ change portfolio
• Guide investment decisions, prioritisation, and risk-informed trade-offs
• Govern the full lifecycle from ideation through to benefits realisation

Delivery Excellence & Capability Uplift:

• Define and evolve a best-in-class delivery model integrating agile, governance, and human-centred design
• Establish standards, tools, and frameworks to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
• Build organisational capability through coaching, mentoring, and communities of practice

Executive Influence & Change Leadership:

• Act as a trusted advisor to Health Partners’ Executive and senior stakeholders
• Embed change leadership practices that support adoption, engagement, and long-term behavioural change
• Ensure initiatives are well-shaped, realistic, and aligned to strategic priorities

Leadership & Culture:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing, multidisciplinary PMO team
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Build strong relationships to drive shared accountability and successful outcomes

About You:

You are a strategic and commercially astute leader with a proven track record in delivering large-scale transformation.

You bring:

• Extensive experience leading enterprise portfolios, PMOs and transformation programs
• Deep expertise in governance, delivery methodologies, and benefits realisation
• Strong executive-level communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
• A passion for building high-performing teams and uplifting organisational capability
• A human-centred leadership style, with the ability to create clarity in ambiguity
