A leading organisation is seeking two Project Managers with proven insurance sector experience to spearhead an exciting new initiative, taking it from inception through to business case and delivery. What you'll do:
As a Project Manager – Insurance Sector, you will play a pivotal role in launching a new initiative from scratch. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders across various functions to define project scope, develop robust business cases, and drive delivery against agreed objectives.
Reporting into the Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will coordinate teams both in-person and remotely, leveraging your interpersonal skills to foster cooperation and resolve issues efficiently. Success in this role requires meticulous planning, proactive risk management, and clear communication with senior leaders.
- Oversee all aspects of project management for a new initiative within the insurance sector, ensuring milestones are met and objectives are achieved.
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple departments to foster collaboration, gather requirements, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive business cases that clearly articulate project goals, expected outcomes, and resource needs for executive approval.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams by facilitating effective communication, promoting teamwork, and resolving any challenges that arise during project execution.
- Monitor progress against timelines and budgets, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on project status, key achievements, and areas requiring attention.
- Champion best practices in project management by applying industry standards and methodologies tailored to the insurance environment.
- Support change management activities by helping stakeholders adapt to new processes or systems introduced by the project.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to insurance projects, maintaining accurate documentation throughout.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior colleagues, and participating in training sessions.
