Senior Project Manager – Technology & Transformation

We are partnering with a leading education organisation undergoing a significant period of international expansion and business transformation.

They are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to take ownership of major initiatives across two distinct streams:

• Technology Delivery – leading the IT component of an overseas expansion, including LMS, Student Management Systems, CRM-related processes, vendors, development and QA.
• Business Transformation – leading the transition from multiple independently operated colleges towards a more harmonised and scalable operating model.

These are genuinely hands-on opportunities for experienced delivery professionals who can take ownership and drive outcomes with limited oversight.

Technology Delivery

This role is suited to a senior IT Project Manager with strong technical literacy and a track record of delivering complex technology initiatives.

Key areas include:

• LMS and Student Management Systems
• Student recruitment and agent systems
• CRM and associated technology
• Application implementation
• Vendor and technical team coordination
• Development, testing and QA

Higher education experience will be highly valued, particularly exposure to student lifecycle, admissions, enrolments, curriculum, LMS or SMS environments.

You don't need to be a technical architect or developer — the requirement is for someone who understands technology well enough to lead technical teams and confidently drive delivery.

Business Transformation

This role will lead a significant operating model and business transformation across a complex education environment.

The organisation currently operates through multiple university-aligned colleges, each with its own processes and ways of working. The objective is to establish a more consistent and scalable operating model.

The transformation is at an early stage, giving you the opportunity to help shape the approach rather than simply inherit an established program.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Lead operating model and business transformation.
• Navigate complex and sometimes challenging senior stakeholders.
• Influence without direct authority.
• Challenge assumptions and provide clear recommendations.
• Create structure and momentum in ambiguous environments.
• Translate strategic objectives into practical delivery.

What we're looking for

Across both opportunities, you'll be a hands-on, autonomous delivery professional who is comfortable taking ownership and getting things moving.

The ideal background will depend on the project, but we are particularly interested in candidates with experience across technology delivery, higher education, operating model transformation, business process transformation or complex organisational change.
