Senior Sales Executive

The Company: My client is a global technology company providing an innovative SaaS platform focused on digital loyalty, promotions and customer engagement for enterprise retailers. With a growing international customer base and strong market interest, the company is expanding its investment across the APAC region and is looking to accelerate growth across Australia. The organisation operates in a collaborative, international environment and partners with some of the world’s largest retail brands. The Role: My client is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business growth across APAC, with a primary focus on Australia. You will take ownership of the full enterprise sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and building relationships through to closing deals and supporting long-term partnerships. This role will be instrumental in expanding the company’s regional presence and helping major retailers adopt a best-in-class digital loyalty platform. Working closely with commercial, marketing and technical teams globally, you will deliver tailored solutions that address complex retailer needs. Please note you must have the Right to Work in Australia, the client cannot offer sponsorship. Can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or other major city.

Responsibilities:

New Business Development

  • Identify, develop and convert new enterprise sales opportunities
  • Explore new retail verticals and emerging market opportunities across Australia
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision makers
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure

Pipeline & Commercial Management

  • Build, manage and continuously update a robust sales pipeline and forecasts
  • Define and execute clear strategies for each opportunity
  • Lead and manage complex RFP processes and enterprise sales cycles
  • Secure 2–3 new customers within the first year

Partnerships & Market Presence

  • Build strategic partnerships with regional technical and industry partners
  • Represent the company at retail and loyalty industry events and conferences
  • Gather and share market intelligence and customer insights internally

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with global marketing teams on lead scoring, qualification and follow-up strategies
  • Contribute to sales enablement content aligned to the customer journey
  • Collaborate with technical teams to shape solutions and support product demonstrations

Candidate Criteria:

Experience & Background

  • Relevant degree in Business, Commerce or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS, retail technology, martech, loyalty or retail media
  • Proven track record of building pipeline and opening new markets
  • Strong experience selling into enterprise retailers or multi-site organisations
  • Demonstrated success managing complex and long enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience leading large RFP processes with successful outcomes

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong network within the Australian retail market
  • Confidence engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders
  • Ability to convert leads into proposals and commercial opportunities
  • Experience with social selling and thought leadership approaches
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence speaking at events
  • Technical curiosity and ability to understand SaaS solutions
