Business Development Manager
A global infrastructure and logistics business operating across energy, storage and supply chain markets is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to support growth across Western Australia. The business operates within complex, asset-intensive environments and is focused on expanding long-term customer partnerships across fuel, storage and industrial logistics sectors.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the APAC Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of business development activity across the Western Australian market, identifying and securing new commercial opportunities across fuel storage, logistics and related infrastructure services.
This role will suit a commercially astute and relationship-driven professional who understands the WA fuels, energy or industrial logistics market and enjoys developing long-term strategic partnerships.
You will play a key role in market mapping, pipeline development, commercial negotiations and strategic customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategy across the WA market
- Identify, engage and develop new customer relationships across fuels, storage and logistics sectors
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis across the WA energy and industrial market
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of commercial opportunities
- Develop commercial proposals, presentations and investment cases for senior leadership
- Negotiate and secure new commercial agreements
- Work closely with internal operational and commercial stakeholders across APAC
- Represent the business across industry networks and customer engagements
- Support long-term growth initiatives across infrastructure and storage services
About You
- Experience within fuel, energy, industrial logistics, terminals or related infrastructure environments
- Strong business development and commercial capability
- Existing network within the WA fuels, energy or industrial market highly regarded
- Ability to build credibility with both operational and executive stakeholders
- Commercially driven with strong relationship management capability
- Experience developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Comfortable operating autonomously within a growth-focused environment
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
