Sales Director / Country Manager, Industrial & Warehouse Safety

Our client is a global leader in industrial safety and asset protection solutions, supplying engineered systems that help manufacturers, warehouses, logistics operators and automated facilities create safer, more efficient working environments. With a strong presence across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America, the business is recognised for its expertise in machine guarding, warehouse partitioning, automated storage protection and secure infrastructure solutions. Serving many of the world's leading industrial, manufacturing and distribution organisations, the company continues to invest in innovation, workplace safety and operational excellence to support the growing demands of automation and modern industry.

Sales Director / Country Manager will be leading a small onshore team of 4 while acting as a member of the leadership team in APAC. Australian operations has been established in the past 5 years and are ready for the next stage of growth and expansion.

This role is suitable for strong Sales Leader with previous P&L responsibility who is very much hands on with sales activities, operations and managing a small onshore team.

Previous experience across one of the followings industrial and warehouse safety, automatic warehouses, robotics automation, machine guarding, property and data centre protection, partitioning, anti collapse, active safety, barrier systems will be highly regarded and preferred.

The Responsibilities:

  • *Drive, develop and implement sales with focus on profitable growth.
  • *Lead the development of the country’s long- and short-term strategies and goals.
  • *Building strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • *Develop a long term channel strategy considering a strong network of distributors, integrators and partners
  • *Analyse market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • *Manage Selling, General and Administrative Expenses (SG&A) and have overall P&L responsibility
  • *Responsible for sales, technical sales service and supply chain
