Business Support Officer

About the Opportunity
This isn’t your typical rigid corporate admin desk. As our client's operations expand nationwide, we need a versatile Business Support Officer to help us build scalable processes and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll have incredible exposure to how a national infrastructure business operates from the ground up.
What You'll Do Every Day
You will be the glue that holds the team together, moving easily between three key areas:

Governance & Business Admin: Manage records, control documents, draft meeting agendas, take minutes, and create engaging materials for company intranet.

Project Delivery Support: Help project teams keep critical infrastructure builds on track by managing documentation, raising purchase orders, and assisting with procurement.

Legal & Compliance Coordination: Provide clerical assistance to General Counsel, keep compliance trackers updated, and coordinate regulatory submissions
What We Are Looking For
We care more about your attitude, adaptability, and drive than a perfectly linear career history. However, to set yourself up for success, you will need:

Australian Citizenship (essential).

Solid proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

A proven track record of strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.

A background in business support, administration, project coordination, or legal admin—ideally within a startup, SME, or fast-paced corporate setting.

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to collaborate with senior executives.

A solutions-focused mindset and the independence to own tasks from start to finish.
