Data & Administration Coordinator
An opportunity has arisen for a Data & Catalogue Administration Coordinator to join a globally recognised organisation operating within the engineering, industrial technology and advanced manufacturing sector. You will play an important role in maintaining the quality and integrity of product information across internal catalogues and systems.
Based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, this role sits within a small, collaborative team and offers the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge across product information, data management and business systems within a highly established international environment.
Reporting to the team lead, you will take ownership of the accuracy, integrity and ongoing maintenance of product and catalogue information. With comprehensive training provided, the role offers genuine scope for someone who is eager to learn, commercially aware and looking to establish themselves within a professional corporate environment.
The role is based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the office from 8:30am–5:00pm, offering on-site parking and an immediate start on a minimum six-month contract.
Key responsibilities will include:
-
Maintaining and enhancing product, catalogue and technical data across internal systems.
-
Ensuring information remains accurate, complete, consistent and aligned with established data standards.
-
Reviewing and validating existing information, identifying discrepancies and implementing required updates.
-
Supporting the ongoing integrity, governance and quality of product information.
-
Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements and resolve inconsistencies or gaps.
-
Developing a strong understanding of internal systems, product structures and data processes through comprehensive on-the-job training.
-
Supporting broader administrative and coordination activities across the function.
-
Identifying opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency and information management.
About You
This role will suit someone who takes pride in getting the detail right and is motivated by learning how things work. You’ll bring a proactive mindset, strong curiosity and a willingness to take ownership, rather than simply waiting for instruction.
We’re looking for someone with:
-
Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to information management.
-
Confidence working across systems, databases and Microsoft Excel.
-
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage information accurately and consistently.
-
A natural curiosity and genuine interest in learning new systems, processes and technical information.
-
Strong communication skills and the confidence to ask questions and engage with stakeholders.
-
The initiative to identify issues, investigate solutions and follow tasks through to completion.
-
Previous experience across administration, data management, catalogue management, product administration or coordination will be highly regarded.
You’ll join a small, collaborative team within a global organisation, gaining exposure to a sophisticated technical environment while developing transferable capability across data management, systems and operational processes.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
