A leading organisation in the banking sector is seeking AI & Data Scientists to join its AI Centre of Excellence. Operating as a startup within a large enterprise, the team works in rapid 4 week release cycles, taking ideas from concept through to production. Work on LLM and agentic AI solutions that directly drive productivity and growth across the business. Collaborate in multidisciplinary squads to rapidly build, test, and deploy solutions into production. Gain direct exposure to senior leadership, with outcomes showcased to the CEO and exec team.

What you'll do:

As a Data Scientist, you will design, build, and deliver AI solutions that solve real business problems. Working in high-performing squads, you will take ownership from ideation through to deployment and optimisation in a fast-moving, delivery-focused environment.

• Build and deploy LLM and agentic AI solutions into production
• Identify and prioritise high-impact use cases aligned to business outcomes
• Measure success through clear metrics and continuously optimise model performance
• Work in rapid 4-week delivery cycles to release solutions quickly
• Collaborate closely with engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to a strong test & learn culture, including hackathons and rapid experimentation

What you bring:

You are a hands-on builder with proven experience delivering AI solutions in real-world environments, with a clear focus on impact and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience building and deploying LLM-based and/or agentic AI systems
• Strong ability to define success metrics, measure outcomes, and iteratively optimise models
• Experience taking AI solutions from concept through to production
• Solid Python and cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business challenges into AI solutions
