SRE Lead

• Build and maintain Python and Bash tooling to monitor system health, performance, and dependencies across a distributed trading stack
• Operate and support a large‑scale Linux/Unix production environment with high uptime and performance requirements
• Diagnose and resolve complex system‑level issues under time pressure
• Partner closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers to support live trading and new system rollouts
• Work alongside platform engineering teams on server builds, imaging, configuration, testing, and deployments
• Act as a liaison across infrastructure, network, security, and market‑data teams during production incidents
• Drive improvements in automation, reliability, and operational efficiency across the trading platform

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands‑on Linux/Unix experience — this role is deeply OS‑ and systems‑focused
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
• Experience supporting production or mission‑critical systems in a demanding, fast‑paced environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to stay calm and effective during high‑impact incidents
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with front‑office stakeholders
• Solid problem‑solving ability and quantitative mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
