Senior IT Consultant – ServiceNow, Permanent, ($135k - $145k base + super + bonus p/a), Brisbane An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior IT Consultant -ServiceNow to join a highly collaborative and supportive team based in Brisbane.

What you'll do:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, industry developments, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform solution design and delivery.
• Design and implement sustainable ServiceNow solutions that provide measurable value to customers and align with their strategic objectives.
• Develop comprehensive technical designs that challenge existing approaches, supporting customer innovation through improved tooling, streamlined operations, and enhanced capabilities.
• Leverage established offerings and delivery methodologies with an emphasis on repeatability to ensure consistent quality across engagements.
• Contribute as a subject matter expert during qualification, scoping, estimation, design, and architecture phases of new or existing projects to ensure alignment with business requirements and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the continuous improvement of productised services by contributing to their development and regular updates within the practice.
• Demonstrate technical leadership by setting examples for peers and providing guidance throughout complex or marquee project deliveries.
• Define and promote standards and best practices within the team; maintain thorough documentation and actively share insights with the wider community of practice.
• Mentor team members proactively by assisting them in meeting deadlines, managing customer expectations, and developing specialised skills collaboratively.
• Partner with Solution Architects to mature frameworks used in project delivery while ensuring compliance with vendor programs and ISO standards.

What you bring:

• At least five years’ experience as an end-to-end ServiceNow Consultant focused on migration, transformation, and IT outsourcing initiatives within diverse environments.
• A minimum of ten years’ participation in the IT industry demonstrating broad exposure to technology trends and enterprise-scale solutions.
• Strong integration experience.
• Proven experience in customer-facing consulting roles or pre-sales engagements where translating business challenges into effective technical solutions was essential.
• Demonstrated ability to interface confidently with senior business leaders as well as technical personnel across multiple disciplines.
• Strong background in application development and integration with hands-on experience using ServiceNow applications to solve common business problems.
• Familiarity engaging with ServiceNow sales teams, solution consultants, account managers, and other key stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with proven ability to prepare detailed reports, present ideas diagrammatically, and maintain clear documentation for diverse audiences.
• Team-oriented interpersonal skills that foster collaboration among peers while supporting shared goals within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies quickly while adapting effectively under pressure in complex environments involving multiple stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow licensing structures, security management practices, integration frameworks (including ITSM, SPM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC), as well as relevant certifications such as ITIL Certified, ServiceNow CSA/CTA/CIS certifications, TOGAF Certified, AWS Foundations or Azure Foundations.
