About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Python/React Developer to join our dynamic team on an initial 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python for back-end development and React.js for front-end development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimise application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the development team.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks to continuously improve development processes.
• Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Python Developer, with expertise in building robust back-end systems.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, including component-based architecture and state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated when working independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines and containerisation tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
