Corporate Tax Accountant

- Join a global FMCG leader in a broad corporate tax role with exposure to transfer pricing, internal audit, insurance and finance projects.
- Partner with APAC and Global Tax teams, EY and senior finance leaders across Australia and New Zealand.
- Take ownership of tax compliance and governance while driving process improvements in a collaborative, high-performing finance team.
What You'll Do
- Manage corporate tax compliance across Australia and New Zealand, including FBT, withholding tax, tax effect accounting and tax reporting.
- Act as the key liaison with external tax advisors, the ATO, IRD and APAC Tax teams, ensuring all reporting obligations and deadlines are met.
- Prepare tax calculations, forecasts, reconciliations and support the rolling forecast process.
- Maintain transfer pricing across multiple business units and support transfer pricing documentation.
- Coordinate internal audit activities, strengthen financial controls and support governance and risk management initiatives.
- Manage the company's insurance portfolio across Australia and New Zealand, including policy renewals and claims management.
- Lead and support finance projects focused on process improvement, systems and operational efficiency.
- Partner with stakeholders across finance, regional teams and external providers to deliver high-quality financial outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- CA or CPA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Experience in corporate tax, either within a commercial organisation or Chartered Accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax compliance, including corporate tax, FBT and GST.
- Exposure to transfer pricing, tax effect accounting or internal/external audit will be highly regarded.
- Strong financial accounting and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Dynamics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across the business and with external advisors.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
