Finance Manager

Finance Manager role in a growing global bank supporting a $320m+ business with strong long-term stability and international exposure. Lead finance transformation, process improvement and reporting across a small, high-performing team. Own month-end, audit, tax and compliance while partnering with stakeholders and external consultants. Hybrid role (3 days in office) with strong career development and collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities – Day to Day

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and resolve accounting variances
• Manage external audit process and act as key point of contact for auditors
• Oversee BAS, GST, FBT and broader tax and statutory compliance obligations
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including process improvement, automation and system enhancements
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external consultants on finance projects and technical accounting matters
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants within the finance team
• Support ongoing reporting improvements and enhance efficiency across finance operations
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines

About you
You are a CA/CPA qualified accountant with strong technical accounting experience gained in industry or financial services. You bring exposure to finance transformation or process improvement initiatives and are comfortable working with external consultants. You are proactive, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a small, collaborative team environment.
