Senior FP&A Manager

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading Australian financial services organisation seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their commercial finance team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant consumer portfolio, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive financial performance, improve decision-making and influence strategic outcomes.

This role sits within a high-performing finance function and will provide exposure to executive leadership, complex business challenges and a broad range of commercial finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end financial performance of a major business portfolio, including P&L management, forecasting, budgeting and monthly performance reporting.
• Provide commercial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Partner with senior leaders and operational stakeholders to understand performance drivers, identify opportunities and challenge business outcomes.
• Analyse financial data, identify trends and communicate recommendations clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Support pricing decisions, cost management initiatives and profitability improvement opportunities.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of finance professionals, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes within reporting deadlines.
• Act as a trusted finance partner, helping the business understand key drivers impacting performance.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business and turning financial insights into meaningful action.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering roles.
• Strong experience analysing financial data and confidently presenting insights and recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to senior non-finance leaders.
• Strong technical finance capability across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis.
• Experience within financial services, insurance or another complex, data-driven organisation would be highly regarded.
