An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Accountant to join a well-established organisation operating within Western Australia's fresh produce and food distribution industry.

Based in Canning Vale, this permanent position offers a broad commercial accounting role where you'll partner closely with the Finance leadership team to deliver accurate financial reporting, support strategic decision-making and contribute to ongoing business improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Complete month-end and year-end reporting activities.
• Perform general ledger, bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse financial performance and provide variance reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Prepare BAS, GST and FBT returns.
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Support payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights.
• Support ERP system enhancements and finance process improvements.
• Assist with external audit and statutory reporting requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in a commercial accounting environment.
• Strong financial reporting and month-end accounting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and reconciliations.
• Exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong analytical skills.
