Commercial Analyst

-Exciting opportunity to join a leading contract foodservice and support services company. -Working closely with Business Development & Operations, you will develop financial models, pricing strategies and commercial estimates that support new business opportunities and drive informed decision- making. -Highly visible role that offers exposure across the broader business and the opportunity to contribute to high- profile projects directly influencing commercial growth.

What you'll do:

• Develop accurate, auditable financial models and pricing for new business opportunities, incorporating benchmarking and sensitivity analysis.
• Provide commercial analysis and recommendations to support tender strategy and improve bid competitiveness.
• Support the commercial review and approval process, ensuring compliance with financial controls and governance requirements.
• Maintain and enhance commercial modelling tools, benchmarking databases and pricing methodologies to be utilised for bids, new business opportunities and client budgetary quotes.
• Partner closely with Operations, Finance, HR and Supply Chain to gather accurate cost inputs and deliver commercially robust submissions.
• Provide commercial support throughout the tender lifecycle, including client clarifications, presentations, contract negotiations and successful handover to operational teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Advanced Excel skills with proven experience using complex financial models.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial analysis into practical business recommendations.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working in commercial finance, management accounting, business partnering or bid/tender environments.
• Experience within hospitality, facilities management or other service-based industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.
