Finance Analyst, Supply Chain

What you'll do:
- Manage monthly finished goods inventory reconciliations across Australia and New Zealand, investigating and resolving variances between systems.
- Monitor and report on slow-moving and obsolete stock, including managing provisions and supporting recommendations to optimise inventory outcomes.
- Prepare inventory reporting, including GRNI reconciliations, inter-warehouse transfers, stock in transit, and stock-on-hand reporting for Supply Chain teams.
- Support quarterly and annual group reporting requirements, including inventory balances, intercompany stock schedules, and year-end inventory roll forwards.
- Partner with the business on capital expenditure projects, supporting justification, tracking, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Prepare fixed asset reporting, including asset additions, disposals, depreciation forecasts, reconciliations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records, ensuring assets are appropriately recorded, reviewed, and aligned with business requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities, including depreciation journals, capital work-in-progress reconciliations, and capex accruals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, and wider PR Pacific departments to support effective financial controls and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality, safety, environmental, and corporate responsibility standards.
What you bring:
- CA/ CPA qualification or working towards.
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience in financial accounting, inventory control, fixed assets, or supply chain finance environments.
- Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations, journal preparation, and financial reporting.
- Experience analysing financial data, investigating variances, and identifying process improvements.
- Ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (experience with E1/JD Edwards or similar systems advantageous).
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
