Senior Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has come available for a Senior Management Accountant to join a respected organisation in Belmont. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide financial insights, management reporting and commercial advice to support strategic decision-making. An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation and play a key role in supporting business performance through high-quality financial reporting, analysis and commercial insights.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders and business stakeholders to provide meaningful financial information, improve decision-making and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end management accounting process, including journals, reconciliations, reporting and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly management reports, executive reporting and financial performance insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial financial advice and support informed decision-making.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the organisation.
• Develop financial models, business cases and investment analysis.
• Support project accounting activities, including forecasting, cost tracking and CAPEX reporting.
• Analyse financial trends and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems and financial frameworks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in a Senior Management Accountant, Management Accountant or commercial finance role.
• Strong experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with financial modelling, business cases and project accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle experience highly regarded).
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
