Payroll Officer
We are working with multiple detail-oriented Payroll Officers for a variety of indsutries to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies, resolving payroll enquiries, and supporting reporting and reconciliation activities. This roles require strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintain employee payroll records and update payroll data as required.
- Calculate wages, salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, and leave entitlements.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and taxation requirements.
- Process superannuation contributions and PAYG obligations.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare payroll reports.
- Respond to employee payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll audits and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in payroll administration or payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information and meet strict deadlines.
- SAP Successfactors (ECP) experience
