Director of Technology Solutions

This is an opportunity to shape the technology strategy of a high-growth investment organisation at a pivotal stage of its journey. We're seeking an experienced Director of Technology Solutions to lead enterprise technology strategy, solution architecture, and the delivery of innovative technology capabilities that directly support investment operations and business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and has deep experience delivering technology solutions within an investment management, private markets, funds management or financial services environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the CTO, you'll be responsible for defining and executing the organisation's technology roadmap while leading the design, implementation and optimisation of business-critical technology platforms.

Working closely with executive stakeholders, investment teams and external technology partners, you'll play a key role in enabling the organisation's strategic objectives through scalable, secure and innovative technology solutions.

This is a highly visible leadership position where you'll influence enterprise-wide technology decisions while building a modern, data-driven technology function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise technology strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Lead the delivery of technology solutions supporting investment management and corporate functions.
• Own solution architecture, application strategy and technology roadmaps.
• Drive the implementation and optimisation of investment and portfolio management platforms.
• Lead vendor and delivery partner relationships across multiple technology initiatives.
• Champion data governance, reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies including AI and cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure technology solutions meet security, compliance and governance standards.
• Build and lead a high-performing technology team while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

About You

You'll be a strategic technology leader with the ability to balance long-term vision with hands-on execution.

You'll ideally bring:

• 10+ years' experience leading complex technology delivery and transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering technology solutions within investment management, asset management, private markets, wealth management or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of investment platforms, portfolio management systems or deal management technology.
• Experience developing enterprise technology strategies and solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of data governance, reporting and analytics.
• Experience leading third-party vendors and technology delivery partners.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence executive leadership.
• A passion for innovation, modern technology and AI-enabled business transformation.
