HR Systems Consultant
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a People Systems Consultant to join their People and Payroll Services transformation team in Melbourne. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience across Australia and the UK by managing, optimising, and enhancing HR systems that underpin the entire employee life cycle. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based in Melbourne CBD with an immediate start.
What you'll do:
- Facilitate annual people processes including Performance Reviews, Remuneration Reviews, Development Planning, Learning initiatives, Succession Planning, and Talent Management cycles through effective system administration.Actively support the development of the People Systems plan in alignment with the overall People strategy.
- Drive the design, implementation, and documentation of new system functionalities and modules.
- Lead the management of HR systems including scheduling, change requests, environment management, data security, business requirements gathering, post go-live support, testing strategies, issue tracking, defect registers, and configuration guides.
- Partner with key stakeholders such as Payroll Team, People Advisory, Employee Relations, Finance, Technology teams, end users, and third-party vendors.
- Manage all updates, enhancements, releases, and communications related to People Systems.
- Maintain security permissions across all People Systems by proactively monitoring access controls.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills developed through strong influencing abilities combined with effective negotiation techniques when engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Significant practical experience administering HRIS systems, including hands-on involvement in implementations. or upgrades within complex environments.
- Experience using Cornerstone (essential).
- Experience using Workday (highly desirable).
- Proven track record in optimising HR technology platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Must be available at short notice
