Customer Service Officer

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Member Services Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Perth CBD. This six-month contract offers $44 per hour plus superannuation and would suit a customer-focused professional who enjoys managing enquiries, resolving issues and providing high-quality service in a busy team environment.

We are seeking an experienced Member Services Officer for an initial six-month contract based in Perth CBD. This opportunity would suit someone with a strong background in customer service, contact centres or account administration who enjoys helping customers and delivering positive service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound telephone and email enquiries, providing professional and timely customer support.

• Assist with account-related enquiries, general information requests and administrative processes.

• Investigate and resolve customer issues, escalating complex matters where required.

• Maintain accurate customer records and update information across internal systems.

• Liaise with internal teams to ensure enquiries are resolved efficiently.

• Deliver a high standard of customer service while managing competing priorities.

• Support general administration and contribute to a positive team environment.

About You

• Previous experience in customer service, member services or a contact centre environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Confidence handling telephone enquiries and resolving customer issues.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, customer-focused environment.

• A proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach.
