You will play a key role in driving compliance outcomes, supporting audit and assurance activities, providing expert advice to stakeholders, and contributing to the ongoing development of compliance frameworks, policies and processes.

The role offers broad exposure across the organisation and would suit candidates from compliance, governance, risk, audit, assurance or regulatory backgrounds looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Develop, maintain and improve compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, registers and reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide trusted advice and guidance on compliance requirements, regulatory obligations and emerging risks.
  • Monitor compliance risks and identify opportunities to improve governance, controls and business processes.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, audit findings, recommendations and briefing materials for a range of stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and track remediation activities arising from audits, reviews and compliance assessments.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote a culture of compliance, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to governance, risk and compliance projects that enhance organisational capability and support strategic objectives.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in compliance, governance, risk, audit, assurance, regulatory affairs or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment and interpreting legislative, regulatory or policy requirements.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management principles and assurance practices.
  • Experience conducting audits, compliance reviews, investigations or monitoring activities.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical, risk-based recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in government, infrastructure, telecommunications, utilities, financial services or other highly regulated sectors will be highly regarded.

What's on Offer?

  • Meaningful work within a complex and highly regulated environment.
  • Opportunity to influence governance, risk and compliance outcomes.
  • Broad exposure across compliance, audit, assurance and business improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture.
