What you'll do:

As Workforce Capability Lead, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of the organisation’s workforce. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with colleagues across multiple divisions to develop robust strategies for talent management and organisational culture. You will prepare detailed project plans using established methodologies to ensure all initiatives are delivered efficiently. By providing expert advice to senior managers and producing high-quality reports and briefings, you will help drive decision-making processes that support ongoing capability building. Your ability to manage stakeholder relationships through negotiation and consultation will be crucial in maintaining collaborative partnerships. You will also champion continuous improvement by identifying innovative solutions that enhance organisational capability. Success in this role requires you to foster an inclusive environment where health, safety, wellbeing, and diversity are prioritised. Through your efforts, you will contribute significantly to creating a resilient workforce equipped for contemporary challenges.

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of priority projects, policies, and strategies related to workforce planning, talent management, and organisational culture.
  • Prepare and coordinate comprehensive project plans using recognised methodologies to ensure timely delivery of fit-for-purpose outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice as well as high-quality reports, submissions, and briefings for senior management on workforce capability matters.
  • Promote activities that enhance employee engagement, capability building, cultural transformation, and performance improvement throughout the organisation.
  • Identify and present process improvements that foster continuous enhancement in organisational capability.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships by negotiating, consulting, and building collaborative partnerships across teams.
  • Engage broadly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of workforce initiatives.
  • Support the Manager Client & Employee Experience in defining, designing, and delivering organisational development projects aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to building a resilient workforce by embedding best practice frameworks for talent management and performance.
  • Champion inclusive practices that promote health, safety, wellbeing, and diversity within the workplace.

  • Experience adapting successfully within constantly changing environments while delivering quality outcomes under tight timeframes.
  • Expertise in preparing comprehensive reports, submissions, briefings for senior leadership teams or executive stakeholders.
  • Track record of managing stakeholder relationships by negotiating collaboratively for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ability to identify innovative process improvements that drive continuous enhancement in organisational capability.

  • Relevant qualifications in human resources or organisational development are highly regarded but not mandatory.
