People and Culture Business Partner

Funds SA is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to join its collaborative team and help drive a high-performing, values-led culture. About Funds SA Funds SA is a South Australian Government-owned corporation that manages and invests over AUD $50 billion on behalf of South Australian public-sector superannuation funds and approved public authorities.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, you will provide trusted HR advice and support across the organisation. Working closely with leaders and employees, you'll contribute to workforce planning, organisational development, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, and wellbeing initiatives.

This is a hands-on business partnering role that combines strategic advice with operational delivery, providing the opportunity to influence culture, capability and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sound HR advice on recruitment, performance management, learning and development, health and wellbeing, employee relations matters, and workforce planning.
• Coordinate recruitment processes, onboarding activities, and develop high-quality documentation such as memos, presentations, and reports.
• Support organisational change initiatives including job design, capability development strategies, and performance management programs.
• Deliver organisational development initiatives aligned with Funds SA’s People and Culture strategy to promote employee engagement and build capability.
• Provide guidance on industrial relations matters including interpretation of policies and procedures, case management of sensitive staffing issues, and enterprise bargaining processes.
• Contribute to workplace health, safety, and wellbeing programs that optimise employee productivity and resilience.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation to foster collaboration and alignment with corporate objectives.

About You

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Experience providing contemporary HR advice across a broad range of people matters.
• Strong employee and industrial relations knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes.
• A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

Experience within the South Australian public sector is desirable but not essential.
