Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Psychosocial Risk Specialist
This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact Health, Safety & Wellbeing role where you’ll partner with leaders to strengthen psychosocial risk management across a large, complex organisation. Using insights from a completed organisation-wide assessment, you’ll help shape practical strategies, build leader capability, and create safer, healthier workplaces through coaching, education, and collaboration.
This 6-month contract offers a flexible hybrid working environment, with the opportunity to balance working from home and onsite collaboration.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with leaders and teams to translate psychosocial risk assessment insights into practical, sustainable actions.
- Deliver targeted education, coaching and workshops to build confidence in managing psychosocial hazards.
- Support leaders to understand their risk profiles and implement tailored mitigation strategies.
- Develop practical risk controls, tools and resources that strengthen psychosocial risk capability.
- Review policies, frameworks and processes to identify opportunities for improvement aligned with legislation and best practice.
- Develop and support implementation of hazard and risk control plans across higher-risk areas.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers to embed effective well-being strategies.
- Provide trusted advice that helps create safer, more supportive workplace environments.
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Psychology or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing psychosocial risks within large, complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, psychosocial hazards and contemporary risk management practices.
- Experience interpreting psychosocial assessments and turning insights into meaningful action.
- Confidence coaching leaders, facilitating discussions and influencing positive change.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trust across all levels.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to balance strategy, compliance and people.
