Legal Counsel

You will be joining a leading health services organisation as a Legal Counsel with a strong focus on professional indemnity in Sydney within an established national legal team going through a growth phase.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Manage a portfolio of claims and notifications across civil, disciplinary, and medico-legal matters.
• Deliver timely telephone and written advice to clients
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to process improvements and audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and legislative requirements.

About You

You have:

• 1-2PQE with relevant legal qualifications and current practising certificate
• Strong understanding of professional indemnity or personal injury law is highly regarded
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
