What You'll Do
As Technical Manager – Process Engineering, you will lead and develop the Process Engineering function while providing strategic technical leadership across the organisation. You will work at the intersection of technology, innovation, and commercial growth, helping position the business as the global leader in fine grinding solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, developing, and growing the Process Engineering function.
- Defining the technical vision and capability roadmap for the business.
- Providing technical leadership across projects, research initiatives, customer engagements, and strategic business opportunities.
- Supporting business growth through technical proposals, sales support activities, process guarantees, and customer-facing technical engagement.
- Building trusted relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and global partners.
- Driving innovation and advancing the application of fine grinding technologies across the minerals processing sector.
- Leading commissioning, optimisation, troubleshooting, and plant performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with international teams to accelerate technology development and global knowledge sharing.
- Contributing to industry thought leadership through technical publications, conference presentations, and participation in key industry forums.
- Supporting the strategic objective of establishing Australia as the organisation's global centre of technical excellence for fine grinding technology.

What You Bring
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience within mineral processing, comminution, or fine grinding applications.
- Deep technical expertise in grinding circuit design, optimisation, and operational performance improvement.
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to translate technical expertise into business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and developing engineering capability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
- Experience with fine grinding machines
- A collaborative and innovative mindset, with a passion for solving complex industry challenges.
- Willingness to travel internationally and engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders globally.
- Experience publishing technical papers and presenting at industry conferences will be highly regarded.
- Familiarity with process modelling and simulation software is advantageous.
