Senior Electric Vehicle Charging Project Manager

The Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of an EV pilot program, including the successful implementation of multiple pilot sites. This includes overseeing infrastructure planning, managing delivery, and translating outcomes into a scalable long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of EV pilot sites from planning through to completion
• Coordinating EV charging infrastructure deployment, including site readiness and integration with existing assets
• Developing and managing detailed project plans, including timelines, risks, milestones and deliverables
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with governance, procurement, and compliance requirements

Stakeholder Management

This role requires strong stakeholder engagement across diverse groups. You will:

• Collaborate with sustainability / ESG, construction, operations, and asset management teams
• Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment to manage dependencies and drive outcomes
• Act as the central coordination point across all stakeholders

Strategy & Insights

Beyond delivery, you will play a critical role in shaping future direction:

• Capture and analyse lessons learned from pilot site delivery and operations
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations for broader rollout
• Lead the development of a comprehensiveEV strategy, including:
  • Commercial considerations
  • Operational requirements
  • Scalability and long-term roadmap
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and strategy papers for senior stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in infrastructure or capital project delivery
• Strong capability in stakeholder engagement across complex environments
• Experience delivering end-to-end projects with both delivery and strategic components
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with exposure to senior stakeholders

Highly desirable:

• Experience with EV charging infrastructure / electrification projects
• Background in energy, utilities, transport, property, or sustainability projects
