What you'll do:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for procurement activities spanning major suppliers, product portfolios, and categories. Your day-to-day role will involve managing supplier relationships through performance measurement frameworks that focus on delivery reliability, quality assurance, capacity planning, cost control, and continuous improvement.

• Take overall accountability for procurement activities across assigned product portfolios, categories, and suppliers by ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services.
• Manage supplier performance measurement processes including delivery, quality, capacity, cost analysis, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities by setting targets and timelines while maintaining high standards of value creation for the organisation.
• Resolve supplier issues efficiently by addressing under performance or complaints from stakeholders through effective communication channels

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience in procuring directs within a commercial environment encompassing project management and supplier relationship management is required.
• Proven ability to assess supplier capabilities and evaluate commercial proposals with astute judgement is vital.
• Strong negotiation skills backed by a track record in successful supplier management are necessary for achieving favourable outcomes.
• Sound understanding of supplier contracts coupled with initiative to seek timely advice on technical or operational matters from internal/external sources is important.
