Business Analyst - UKG
A Business analyst with Roster, Time & Attendance, this position plays a key role in delivering a large-scale, organisation-wide Time & Attendance initiative (UKG Workforce Pro). You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end requirements process across multiple locations, ensuring workforce management practices are effectively captured, refined and enhanced.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture, validate and document business requirements related to rostering and time & attendance
- Analyse workforce metrics including labour spend, budgets, forecasts and productivity performance
- Develop current and future state process maps, identifying improvement opportunities
- Work in partnership with stakeholders across sites and business units to enhance processes and drive efficiencies
- Convert business needs into practical solution options, supported by clear recommendations
- Assess risks, issues and potential business impacts arising from proposed changes
- Produce functional specifications and assist with implementation delivery
- Identify and track cost-saving initiatives while improving workforce planning outcomes
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way
- Deliver meaningful reporting and insights to stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within large-scale or multi-site organisations
- Strong background in rostering and time & attendance systems (experience with UKG is highly regarded)
- Good understanding of Australian employment legislation and workforce compliance requirements
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping, data analysis and requirements documentation
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands
- Experience producing detailed artefacts such as process flows, data models and test scripts
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly address challenges
- Energetic, driven and focused on delivering outcomes
Key Requirements:
- Onsite role with flexible hours however core hours required, no work from home at this stage.
