Advancement Services Manager
We are partnering with a large and complex organisation to recruit an experienced Advancement Services Manager to lead policy, governance and operational improvement initiatives within a high-performing services function.
This is an excellent opportunity for a policy and governance professional with a strong operational background who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, drive change and deliver practical business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, review and implementation of policy, governance and operating frameworks.
- Drive strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring effective governance and stakeholder alignment.
- Prepare business cases, proposals, briefing papers and recommendations for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Assess and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency, compliance and decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to implement change and drive organisational outcomes.
- Ensure initiatives align with established governance, compliance and technology frameworks.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in policy, governance, risk, compliance, business transformation or operational excellence roles.
- Proven ability to drive policy and governance outcomes within large, complex organisations.
- Strong operational mindset with experience turning strategy into practical and sustainable solutions.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple business areas.
- Experience managing competing priorities, leading projects and delivering organisational change.
- Strong written communication skills, including the preparation of executive papers, business cases and governance documentation.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools such as Asana, and exposure to enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, will be highly regarded.
This role is ideally suited to candidates from higher education, government, corporate or other highly regulated environments who have a track record of driving governance, policy and operational improvements across complex organisations.
