An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join a highly respected Professional Services organisation located in the heart of Adelaide CBD. This 3–6 month contract role offers you the chance to support key business functions and ensure smooth operations within a dynamic office environment. What You'll Do:

As an experienced Administrator, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality support to the wider team while maintaining operational efficiency across various business functions. Your responsibilities will require accuracy, strong organisational skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Success in this role will come from your proactive attitude, eagerness to learn new skills, and ability to thrive under pressure during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and manage calendars for team activities or client engagements.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across multiple teams, including document preparation, data entry, compliance paperwork, reporting, and general assistance during busy periods or staff absences.
  • Assist with project coordination tasks such as tracking deadlines, preparing materials, and supporting implementation activities.
  • Engage with stakeholders effectively to foster collaboration and ensure smooth communication across teams.
  • Contribute to the development, review, and refinement of governance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client databases and support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other business documents for senior staff members.
  • Collaborate on ad-hoc projects during peak periods to meet deadlines successfully.
  • Assist with onboarding processes by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met for new employees or contractors.
  • Coordinate exceptional stakeholder engagement by managing communications, addressing inquiries efficiently, and fostering strong relationships with senior stakeholders through professional and seamless collaboration.

What You Bring:

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in administrative positions, particularly within professional services or similar environments, where attention to detail and multitasking are essential.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in EA, PA, Senior Admin, Office Management or Project roles is essential
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; familiarity with database systems or project management tools is desirable.
  • Experience with MS Projects will be advantageous
  • Exceptional attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team setting.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to pick up new systems quickly and identify areas for process improvement.
