Program Director
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Program Director to lead a complex AML/CTF reform program within a large financial services organisation. Working closely with senior executives, risk leaders and technology teams, you will drive strategic regulatory outcomes, oversee enterprise-wide delivery and embed sustainable financial crime capabilities across the business.
As Program Director, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale AML/CTF reform program, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations, enterprise priorities and risk management frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the program roadmap aligned to AML/CTF reforms and regulatory milestones.
- Oversee integrated delivery across business, operations, technology, legal and risk functions.
- Ensure traceability from regulatory requirements through to implementation and BAU embedding.
- Establish robust governance, reporting and risk management frameworks.
- Drive prioritisation, dependency management and delivery sequencing across multiple workstreams.
- Engage and influence senior executives, risk committees and external regulators.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and delivery partners to achieve program outcomes.
- Monitor benefits realisation, ensuring measurable improvements in compliance, risk reduction and operational efficiency.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience leading large-scale regulatory or financial crime transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CTF legislation, regulatory expectations and control environments.
- Proven experience delivering technology-enabled change across complex organisations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments such as banking or financial services.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and program management certifications are highly regarded.
- AML/CTF certifications, including CAMS, are advantageous.
