Integration Analyst

The Integration Analyst and Tester will play a pivotal role in a large-scale Finance Reform Program (FRP) aimed at replacing an ageing financial management system (FMS) with a modern, cloud-based solution.

This program involves implementing standardised business processes, leveraging industry best practices, and deploying Oracle Fusion ERP across multiple government agencies. The role requires close collaboration with technical leads, project teams, implementation partners, and various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration, data migration, testing, and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute complex integration and data migration tasks from legacy systems to the new FMS.
• Design, develop, and document integration solutions while engaging with client agencies and vendors for testing and readiness activities.
• Create plans and tools for managing historical data, including integrations into and out of the new FMS.
• Contribute to the development of an operational support model for the new FMS, ensuring parallel support for both legacy and new systems during the transition phase.
• Document and test changes to interfaces and data migration tasks to ensure alignment with functional requirements.
• Conduct data cleansing, analysis, reconciliation activities, and address data integrity issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Perform comprehensive system testing to validate that functional and technical requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records of business activities in compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.

Essential Requirements

• Experience with FDI, BI Publisher, OTBI reporting in Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Significant experience in integrations, analysis, data extraction, conversion, migration, and reporting within a finance environment.
• Expertise in designing, testing, and deploying system interfaces.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to diagnose complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• High attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of ICT systems environments.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g., State Records Act 1997), policies, procedures, EEO principles, cultural inclusion practices, Work Health & Safety Act 2012, and risk management guidelines (AS ISO 31000:2018).

Desirable Expertise

• Experience with integration development using MuleSoft or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Autonomous Data Warehouse and OCI Data Integrator.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP/WSDL protocols (highly desirable).
• Proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL programming for database design and custom object creation.
• Ability to produce technical specifications and unit test scripts (highly desirable).
• Experience working on large-scale complex projects involving Masterpiece or other common financial management cloud solutions like Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project tracking/documentation.
