Platform Engineer - AWS, Terraform

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll help build and improve modern hosting platforms across cloud and on-prem environments. You'll work on automation, cloud infrastructure, platform improvements and operational excellence rather than simply keeping the lights on.

What you'll be doing

• Building and supporting infrastructure across AWS and on-prem environments
• Automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform
• Improving platform reliability, security and performance
• Working on cloud and infrastructure projects, including new platform capabilities
• Collaborating with application, security and infrastructure teams
• Contributing to infrastructure standards and best practices

What we're looking for

• 2–5 years' experience in Infrastructure, Systems, Cloud or Platform Engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Strong Windows Server administration skills
• Experience supporting virtualised environments (Hyper-V or VMware)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible preferred)
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, Active Directory and certificates
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Azure experience
• PAM tools experience (CyberArk/Delinea)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
• Linux administration experience
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments
• Cloud certifications
