IT Project Managers

We are seeking two experienced IT Project Managers to join the Information Technology and Digital Services branch of a leading higher education institution. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to lead impactful IT projects that drive innovation, improve operations, and support strategic objectives. You will manage multiple initiatives, collaborate with diverse teams, and ensure successful project delivery from planning through adoption.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management.
• Ability to manage multiple interrelated initiatives and effectively handle interdependencies.
• Expertise in end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with program goals.
• Proficiency in creating detailed project plans, including scope definition, milestone setting, risk management, and on-time/on-budget delivery.
• Collaboration with Change Managers and Communications Leads to ensure successful adoption and transition.
• Strong leadership skills to guide diverse teams, including business leads, analysts, IT staff, change managers, and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders through reporting and meetings.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality project outputs and deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, ICT, Engineering, or Project Management (or working towards).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Project Management or related discipline.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager, PMI PMP).
• Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master [CSM], SAFe Agilist).
• Experience in the higher education sector.
