Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS)

• Design, build and support secure, scalable AWS cloud solutions.
• Partner with engineering and business teams to shape cloud solutions and architecture.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable automated application and infrastructure deployments.
• Support the delivery of AI and Generative AI workloads within AWS.
• Design and support containerised applications and microservices-based architectures.
• Drive automation, operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement cloud security, monitoring, logging and governance best practices.
• Produce technical documentation and provide guidance to stakeholders across multiple projects.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native services, particularly VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch and RDS.

• Experience working with AI and Generative AI services hosted on AWS, including Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore and/or SageMaker.

• Proven experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, cloud provisioning and automation.

• Strong CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions for application and infrastructure delivery.

• Hands-on experience with containerised and microservices-based environments using Docker and Amazon ECS.

• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, network security, encryption, secrets management, monitoring and logging.

• Ability to design, build and support secure, scalable AWS solutions within large enterprise environments.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments.
