Azure Cloud Team Lead

• Lead the operational support and management of cloud-hosted platforms and services.
• Drive service reliability, availability and performance across a complex Azure environment.
• Manage incidents, problems and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
• Champion automation and operational efficiencies through infrastructure and process optimisation.
• Maintain strong security, governance and compliance standards across cloud platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to support and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful service delivery.
• Support platform scalability, capacity planning and operational readiness initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience supporting and managing enterprise Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services across IaaS, PaaS and cloud-native technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerisation and microservices architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, supported by experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and driving operational excellence.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Ansible or similar technologies.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash/Shell or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within Agile and continuous improvement environments.
