Kronos Functional Consultant
Our client is a well respected company looking to uplift its technical capabilities by hiring a Kronos Functional Consultant. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with HRIS systems, processes and transformation managers, providing technical administration and operational support for a sophisticated workforce management platform. You will be empowered to make a meaningful impact by supporting payroll, HR and operations teams.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day technical administration of the workforce management platform. Your responsibilities will include designing intricate pay rule configurations that accurately reflect enterprise agreements and modern awards. You will lead critical projects such as implementing BOOT functionality to ensure compliance across employee pay outcomes.
What You'll do:
- Design, build and maintain complex pay rule configurations within UKG Dimensions, including pay rules, work rules, pay code distributions, adjustment rules, rounding, grace periods and exception handling.
- Build and execute test scenarios, parallel runs and comparison testing to validate pay outcomes prior to release; log, investigate and resolve defects with both UKG and internal teams.
- Prepare comprehensive design documents for review and sign-off to ensure compliant configuration of all pay-related entitlements within the workforce management platform.
- Act as the escalation point for complex timecard, scheduling, and pay calculation queries from Payroll, HR and Operations teams by resolving service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
Your extensive experience as a UKG Dimensions Functional Consultant will enable you to bring deep knowledge of systems administration, particularly around Kronos Pay rules, to this role. Your ability to solve interface issues or data discrepancies ensures smooth operation of payroll systems.
What you'll bring:
- Over five years of systems administration experience with proven expertise managing Kronos Pay rules including adjustments validated against relevant awards.
- Hands-on experience configuring pay rules, work rules, schedules, accrual profiles within UKG Dimensions to ensure compliance with wage regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously while prioritising tasks in a busy on-site environment.
- Experience preparing comprehensive design documents for review by HR or IR stakeholders ensuring accurate translation of entitlements into system logic.
- Proven track record documenting configuration designs including pay rule logic or troubleshooting steps for audit purposes.
