- Adapt to evolving client needs by demonstrating flexibility around deadlines and being open to occasional travel for onsite engagements.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Forward Deployed Engineer position brings proven hands-on engineering experience across software development or data system deployment. Your background may span software engineering, data science, machine learning or technology consulting—what matters most is what you have built rather than the industry context.
You possess deep technical skills in Python and TypeScript along with familiarity using SQL for database management. Your ability to communicate effectively enables you to engage confidently with senior stakeholders while translating complex requirements into actionable solutions. You thrive on ambiguity by taking ownership from problem definition through implementation. Additional strengths include collaborative teamwork across diverse disciplines, mentoring others within an inclusive environment, attention to detail regarding security protocols and regulatory compliance plus adaptability when responding flexibly around client deadlines or travel requirements. If you have specialised expertise in areas like Palantir Foundry or LLM application development—or if you bring strong product intuition—these are highly valued but not essential.
- Proven track record of shipping systems that are actively used in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript alongside comfort working with SQL databases.
- Skillful use of AI coding tools for developing intelligent applications.
- Experience working directly with senior business stakeholders including preparing materials for presentations.

- Nice to Have: Experience with Palantir Foundry platform for enterprise data integration.
- Nice to Have: Deep expertise in one area of the technology stack coupled with breadth across other domains.
- Nice to Have: Strong product sense combined with an eye for intuitive design principles.
