Fullstack Engineer

Growing Australian financial services business seeking Software Engineers and Data Engineers to support platform development, system integrations and data infrastructure. Opportunities involve .NET, React, Node.js, AWS, SQL, dbt and Redshift, with exposure to AI enablement and scalable technology solutions. Permanent positions offering $100k–$120k + super, with 3 days onsite.

Software Engineer – Role Overview

Technical Environment

- The role will involve working across two core systems:

- Investor Portal: .NET, MySQL and AWS.

- Investment Administration System: React, Node.js and AWS, with a stronger emphasis on the backend.

- PostgreSQL experience is also relevant.

- Main .NET portal:

- Internal transactional platform.

- Uses Syncfusion as the UI component library.

- Investment Administration System:

- Primarily React and Tailwind CSS.

- AWS Lambda-based architecture, designed for scalability.

- AWS SQS and EventBridge for event-driven triggers.

Responsibilities

- Work across both platforms, contributing to ongoing development and improvements.

- Assist with a major overhaul of the Investor Portal.

- Develop and maintain scalable backend services and integrations.

- Contribute to the ongoing development of the investment administration system.

- Potentially provide mentoring and support to other developers.

Experience Required

- Ideally 2–3 years' software engineering experience.

- Strong React and Node.js experience.

- .NET experience is beneficial, particularly for the Investor Portal.

- AWS experience is important.

- Exposure to MySQL, PostgreSQL, Lambda, SQS and EventBridge.

Salary & Employment

- Permanent, full-time position.

- Salary: $100k–$120k + super.

- Some flexibility depending on experience.
